Welcome to our website. If you love live music of any kind, you'll love our shows. Our monthly jazz evenings are hosted in the newley refurbished Redgrave Rooms at The Bush Hotel, The Borough, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7NN. Situated in the heart of Farnham’s historic town centre, The Bush has been welcoming guests through its doors since 1618.
Jazz at The Ivy Room presents unique jazz and cabaret shows on the Last Thursday of every month. So come and hear the country's finest jazz instrumentalists and singers in an informal supper club setting.
With comfortable seating, atmospheric lighting and a well stocked bar, we'll be bringing you the ambiance of an after hours metropolitan night spot right in the heart of Farnham.
Our shows are open to everyone. No membership necessary.

The Last Thursday of The Month Jazz Shows:
Doors open 6.45 pm. Show 7:45 pm -10 pm.
Parking & Access
Please use Farnham's Central Car Park which is free after 6.30 pm. The Bush Hotel has disabled access.
Food
The Bush Hotel will be serving pre-show hot buffet food from 6.45 pm onwards at a cost of £13.50 (payable directly to the hotel on the night). The menu is available to view and pre-order directly from the ticket link. Or you can call the hotel directly on 01252 715237.
The hotel requires your order by the Monday before the Thursday show.
Seating
All bookings are guaranteed a seat. Seating will be in a classic cabaret-style format or occasionally in theatre style. Group bookings for 6 or more will be seated together wherever possible.
The House Band
Jazz At The Ivy Room is run by professional musicians who have worked extensively in the industry.
The resident house band is the Sandra Lambert Trio comprising Sandra Lambert (Piano), Mick Hutton (Double Bass) and Jeff Lardner (Drums). Each month special guest artists are invited to join trio, making each evening a unique event.
Sandra Lambert - Piano
Sandra has performed and recorded with Bette Midler, Humphrey Lyttleton, Cilla Black, Paul O’Grady, Helen Shapiro and The London Symphony Orchestra. She has also played for Royalty at Buckingham Palace, The Duchess of York's 60th Birthday at Royal Lodge and for Prime Minister Boris Johnson at No.10 Downing Street.
Mick Hutton - Bass
A staple of the British jazz scene, Mick has worked with Harry Beckett, Julian Argüelles, Iain Ballamy, Django Bates Ken Stubbs, Alan Barnes, Peter Erskine, Tina May, Jim Mullen, John Scofield, Alan Skidmore, Tommy Smith, John Taylor, Stan Tracey and Kenny Wheeler.
Jeff Lardner - Drums
Jeff has recorded and toured with the world’s foremost musicians and singers including Van Morrison, Kylie Minogue, Natalie Cole, Bobby Womack, Gregory Porter, Joss Stone, Mick Hucknall, Georgie Fame, BBC Big Band and Mark Knopfler.
